    Have a Nissan Frontier; the front plate is the most forward part of the vehicle. I park in places where the front is close to walls, this rubber plate frame prevents scratching of walls and doors, can actually ease up against an immovable object and release forward pressure and the compressed rubber will push back enough to generate a small clearance. The beauty is in the function not the looks.
